Information Needed

The Conservation Commission is requesting livestock owners across Washington contact their local conservation district by 10 AM, MONDAY, March 25th.

They would like to gather a baseline of best estimates for the monetary impact of the winter on livestock operations.
Specifically they need to know:
Feed/hay
Bedding/straw
Fuel/electricity
Veterinary services (including additional medicine use)
Extra Labor
Other extra costs you’ve incurred
You can call in with either totals or per head.

As many producers as have needs should call in with information. The Conservation Commission and WSDA are working to find some monies to cover expenses not covered by the two FSA programs (LIP and ELAP). They will use the information livestock owners submit to gauge the extent of the need.
