Several positions are opening up on the Livestock Identification Advisory Committee, which advises the Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) on livestock identification, inspection fees, and related licensing fees.

 The following positions will be expiring June 30, 2025:

• Beef Producer, currently held by Neil Kayser

• Cattle Feeder, currently held by Clinton Carl

Current vacant positions:

• Livestock Market Owner – expires 6/30/26

• Dairy Producer – expires 6/30/25

• Dairy Producer – expires 6/30/27

• Meat Processor – expires 6/30/27

• Meat Processor – expires 6/30/26

Qualifications:

• Must be a Washington state resident

• Actively involved in the respective livestock industry

• 3-year terms, no compensation
